Fox News Guest: Sanders Investigation Began In 2015

“But you won’t hear about it from almost any news station.”

While the mainstream media peddle the narrative that Russia cost Hillary Clinton the White House and that President Donald Trump colluded with Russian President Vladimir Putin to win the election, Fox News has sounded the alarm on what the media aren’t telling voters about certain prominent leftists.

Christopher Bedford, editor-in-chief of The Daily Caller, said on Fox & Friends on Monday that the investigation of Jane Sanders, wife of former Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders, began in 2015, yet the mainstream media have refused to cover it accordingly.

On Monday morning, the Fox & Friends panel ran a segment on how Sen. Sanders, I-Vt., and Jane Sanders, are currently under FBI investigation regarding a bank loan Jane Sanders received in order to expand Burlington College while she was its president.

“Sen. Sanders’ top adviser, Jeff Weaver, told CBS News the couple has sought legal protection over federal agents’ allegations from a January 2016 complaint accusing then-president of Burlington College, Ms. Sanders, of distorting donor levels in a 2010 loan application for $10 million from People’s United Bank to purchase 33 acres of land for the institution,” Politico reports.

Politico also reported that prosecutors are looking into whether Sen. Sanders’ office used its power to pressure the bank to approve the loan for his wife.

Bedford told Fox & Friends that the news isn’t really new.

“We first reported on this in 2015 at The Daily Caller News Foundation,” Bedford said, “and it’s been slowly rumbling up, and now the FBI has been pushed to investigate whether or not Bernie Sanders’ wife, Jane Sanders, took out a loan based on donations she had to Burlington College.”

“(The donations), it turned out, didn’t actually exist. And it’s actually a question of whether Bernie Sanders’ Senate office pushed them to it. And because of that, there is no more Burlington College,” Bedford said.

“The loan from the Catholic Church and the loan from the bank were lost by the college,” Bedford said, apparently referring to the college’s purchase of land from the church. “And now people are looking into it. But you won’t hear about it from almost any news station. Because it doesn’t fit the narrative that people want to push.”

Following Bedford’s comments, Fox News ran a clip showing Sen. Sanders avoiding questions from a Fox News reporter on Monday when he was asked about the investigation.

The reporter asked Sanders if he believed the investigation of his wife was “politically motivated.”

“Well, I’m glad that you’re interested in the fact that the Republican leadership is proposing legislation which would throw millions of people off of health insurance,” Sanders said as he avoided the question.

While the media have done everything they can to implicate Trump in some sort of wrongdoing, the truth is that the politicians actually under criminal investigation are three top Democrats: Bernie Sanders, Loretta Lynch and Hillary Clinton.
