President Donald Trump returned toTexas on Saturday to spend more one-on-one time with survivors of Hurricane Harvey.
During his visit, Trump visited a shelter in Houston. This time, the commander in chief met with Houstonians, handed out food, and received quite the warm welcome.
It didn’t take long for people to start asking for selfies with Trump.
It’s unclear how many selfies the president took. But White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders shared an image of a family taking a photo with the president via Twitter:

There was another photo of the family with Trump that went on Twitter, too. As it turns out, the hurricane survivors who took the selfie with the president were not fans of him prior to meeting him in person.
ABC 7’s Elex Michaelson tweeted:
Evacuees who snapped this selfie w @realDonaldTrump says the encounter changed their opinion of him.
Found him to be kind, reassuring. pic.twitter.com/IYTHH7Nshi

For at least one family, it seems that getting a few moments with President Trump was enough to help them see him differently.
